A Unix version of FrontPage server extensions is installed by request at no charge. In order to use the FrontPage publish features or FrontPage "elements" you will need to contact us to have server extensions installed on your account.
We support use of the latest server extensions (FP2002) as well as earlier versions of FrontPage!
The extent of our support for Microsoft FrontPage is limited to the installation of server extensions.
To install, uninstall, or reinstall Frontpage Server Extensions:
Click on the Frontpage Extensions link in the Site Management area.
Click on (Re)Install Entensions to Install/Reinstall Extensions.
Click on UnInstall Extensions to UnInstall Extensions.
Frontpage extensions are currently: installed
Warning: Installing or Uninstalling Frontpage extensions will result
in the loss of all .htaccess files in your web area. Any directories you
have protected with WebProtect will become unprotected until you
reprotect them.
For "how to" help on administering your FrontPage website see the Help files which come with your version of the application or Microsoft help on the web or see one of the following newsgroups:
| microsoft.public.frontpage.client | microsoft.public.frontpage.mac | ||
| microsoft.public.frontpage.extensions.* | microsoft.public.frontpage.programming.* | ||
| microsoft.public.frontpage.fp2k.* |
Note: Using Microsoft FrontPage server extensions will severely limit the ability to use many functions in your control panel without risking "breaking" your installed server extensions.
